Care & Feeding Instructions
To keep your starter vibrant and thriving, follow these simple guidelines:
🌾 For Daily Use: If you bake regularly, store your starter at room temperature and feed it daily with equal parts flour and water (by weight).
❄️ For Occasional Use: If you bake less frequently, store your starter in the refrigerator and feed it once per week. Before each feeding, discard 50g and refresh with equal parts flour and water.

Note: For best results, avoid commercial gluten-free flour blends, as they often contain additives that can interfere with fermentation. We recommend feeding your starter with pure, single-ingredient flours like brown rice, cassava, or quinoa flour for a strong and healthy culture.
